The potential confusion isn't helped by the absolutely minimal packaging - there is no booklet, just two CDs in a digipack, with writers and the copyright year for each track printed on the inside, under the CD. "Love" on Disc 1 is the 12-inch version 'beaten' mix of "Moments In Love" (which is shorter than the album version on Disc 2), and "Love Beat" is the slowed-down recording of Moments in Love (with the band discussing the track as a spoken intro). Some of the track titles are slightly misleading as well - but perhaps that was always the case with AON - so "Beatbox" is from the 12-inch single "Moments in Love", with the candidly recorded vocal intro "Diversions 1" is "Beatbox (Diversion One) from their album Who's Afraid Of The Art of Noise. ![]() a slightly curious mixture of crucial tracks from their ZTT peak around 1984 - 5 and some others from their return to the label in 1999, most notably featuring Rakim on "Metaforce". There's no quibble with the musical merit of these pieces, just. Of course, Art of Noise were pioneers whose adventures in sampling laid the foundations for much of what has followed over the past 20 - 30 years.
